Excellent Q&A with playwright, actor, activist and director after last night's 'Wormholes'. Such an important play about coercive control. An excellent monologue for anyone looking for razor-sharp dialogue and a complex and compellling character. The show is on at Omnibus Theatre until 10th August. Try and see it if you can. Or grab a copy of the text from Salamander Street. Donations made to Refuge with ever copy sold.

About Us

Salamander Street is an independent publisher, run by staff with nearly two decades’ worth of experience in theatre publishing. Publisher George Spender was previously Editorial Director at Oberon Books, where he published hundreds of playwrights including Duncan Macmillan, Robert Icke, Lemn Sissay, Simon Stone, Laura Wade, Tanika Gupta, Scottee and Alice Birch, and performance groups Action Hero, Rash Dash, Forest Fringe and Ontroerend Goed. Salamander Street’s first published book was a dual volume of Peter Arnott’s Tay Bridge and The Signalman. Konstantinos Vasdekis joined the company as Art Director in 2020. He has a track record in book design, ranging from experimental theatre plays and performance pieces to high profile illustrated publications for the prestigious Royal Opera House. As well as script publishing, Salamander Street actively promotes and administers the amateur rights to its plays. Our books are printed and bound in the UK.
