This album tells the story of Irène who has been trapped in the record and only exists when it is being played; she haunts it. Each track expresses what Irène is processing whilst she comes to terms with her entrapment: confusion, anger, sadness and hope.

'Where Is Our Empathy?' by DAVEO is the first single from the forthcoming album Otto's.
Sometime in the summer of 2014 DAVEO and his friends walked into Otto's in the hope of playing a few songs. Little did they know that a single track from that session would be released in 2022, almost ten years later.

Otto’s was a pub that has now shut down. It wasn’t a particularly popular one, nor a very well-known one. But it had its own world and in this world, sometimes, unexpected things happened. We’re going to release ten songs recorded there and give Otto’s a second life. See you next week.
