TIN HUT SESSIONS - The Jeremiahs
It's been great to see live music thriving again. A packed and full house at the Tin Hut Sessions, were, last night, captivated by The Jeremiahs on their latest tour after an eight year absence from North-East Scotland.

Squeezing in a couple of cameras into this very tight little hall, we managed to capture an amazing performance - Here's just one of their tracks - "Mary" from their fantastic set that captivated the audience throughout the performance.

As an independent filmmaker, its always good to get feedback and to know that your film has delivered the audience reaction you'd intended.

Yesterday, we shared our short film with some of the wild swimming groups who had helped us pull it together and the response has been amazing.

Thanks for the kind comments and glad it hit the mark.

Thanks to all the cold water swimmers who allowed us to come along and film a few sessions across the North-East of Scotland in the chilly winter conditions in November and December this year,

Hopefully, like taking part in wild swimming, the film brings a smile to your face and inspires many to do more next year.

Please feel free to share the link below, especially with friends who you think may be encouraged to take the plunge in Scotland's waters in 2022 but, so far, have not summoned the courage to do so.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, Scotland has witnessed a spectacular rise in those participating in cold water swimming. In a country that enjoys thous...

DOORWAYS IN DRUMORTY | ONLINE PREMIERE
Theatre is one of the industries still suffering as a result of ongoing covid safeguarding and restrictions with no immediate date in sight of opening up to full capacity. But, did you know, you can still get your fix.

Fierce Beastie was approached by the Awkward Stranger theatre group to see if we could help out with an hour long abridged video version of their successful touring stage play Doorways in Drumorty. All at the height of the strictest lockdown restrictions, therefore we had to think of a different (and remote) way of producing it.

Adapted from the book by Strichen born Hollywood screenwriter and author Lorna Moon, the video features the original cast of the highly successful 2019 Scottish tour.

The film version will be available to watch online for a limited 48 hour period from 7pm on Friday 18th to 7pm on Sunday 20 June.

To access the video, make sure you visit https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JYFswT0FGv8 and support this great production.

Doorways in Drumorty by Mike Gibb based on the stories of the same name by Strichen born Lorna Moon. A film supported by The Doric Board, Cumbernauld Theatre...

Great, and full, day of filming yesterday at The Biscuit Factory EDIN with the cast of Awkward Stranger under the direction of Andy Corelli-Jones. Fantastic to work with such talented actors as they brought to life Ann Marie di Mambro's amazing play Tally's Blood. Can't wait for the edit, hankies on stand by.
