‼️PLEASE HELP US‼️

PULSE NEEDS YOUR HELP!

Unfortunately, we are having to move from our home of several years in Barrhead next month. We hope to keep any disruption to services to a minimum but are in search of new premises to keep the station in its current form alive for years to come.

We have served our community and the wider area for over a decade, and provided many voices with platforms they would not otherwise have had. Local people, local businesses and local musicians have all benefited from being a part of the Pulse family and we hope we can continue this!

Having presented a number of options to East Renfrewshire Council, we’re disappointed to not be able to make any of them work.

I’m so excited to announce that I’m officially BACK🤩 I unfortunately had to take some time out from live shows due to work commitments, but as of this Tuesday, I am back!

In my time away I also did a little rebranding, so I hope y’all love the new logos🤠

A sad day for us at Pulse 98.4. Please read and share the post.

We would also greatly appreciate it if you could click the link and email your local councillor.

We’re not going down without a fight.

We are extremely disappointed to announce that we have been served with a notice to quit our premises at St Luke’s High School in Barrhead by East Renfrewshire Council.

This decision puts the future of the station, which has served the community for over 15 years, in serious jeopardy.

We are particularly disappointed at the lack of communication. We have not been given any prior warning or reasoning for the council forcing a charity and community-driven organisation to leave our home in just 40 days time. Indeed, the notice was sent to our former chairman, who hasn’t been involved with the station for several years.

We endeavour to work with the council to find a suitable resolution to the situation.

Any and all support from the local community will be gratefully received - this includes contacting local councillors which can be done via https://www.eastrenfrewshire.gov.uk/article/2115/Find-my-councillor

We hope that we can continue to provide opportunities for our local community in Barrhead and beyond for many more years to come.

What a weekend😍

Let’s start with the King Tut’s Pre Party…

Tenille Arts: I was in awe. Absolutely beautiful voice, first time seeing her live but bought tickets mid performance for her Glasgow tour date in July.

Seaforth: Have to say; they are definitely one of my highlights from the whole weekend. I knew that they would be entertaining but what a performance! Had the crowd going and interacting from the second they stepped on stage. Not only are they incredible live, they do not take themselves seriously at all (Aria anyone??😂). Also have to add the fact that they changed their last song and performed Good and Gone for me, thanks boys😂❤️

King Calaway: One word: amazing.

Ashley McBryde: Started off strong from the get go with Martha Divine and of course ended even stronger with One Night Standards.

Luke Combs: What can I even say? Every time I have seen him live he has completely blown me away. Another absolute highlight.

Russell Dickerson: Wow. Just wow. Was one of the ones I was most excited to see and boy he did not disappoint. Absolutely wrecked my throat screaming along to every damn song. My number one highlight from the weekend.

Miranda Lambert: Difficult to follow after Kip Moore but was also unreal. Put on one hell of a show.

Tenille Townes: What a voice she has, an incredible way to open up Sunday’s show and you could tell she was having the absolute time of her LIFE up there which made it even more enjoyable.

Scotty McCreery: I have to be honest here, I love Scotty’s voice and he sounded amazing, although he appeared to have little stage presence which was a shame. Don’t get me wrong, I did enjoy his performance but I have a feeling I would enjoy seeing him live much more in a smaller, more intimate venue.

Brett Young: I am in love. So much energy and emotion all mixed into one unreal performance.

Darius Rucker: INCREDIBLE. Incredible incredible incredible. Family Traditions with Brett and Scotty was definitely a stand out moment, but for me it has to be the Hootie songs he played. 2 year old Chloe was obsessed with “Billy and the Goldfish” so seeing him sing some Hootie songs was a childhood DREAM😍
