We're doing a lot of live streaming training and consultancy right now. We have done this alongside media production for over 20 years (I can't quite believe I've been producing live programmes this long...). I'm writing a book currently to teach people all about live streaming. Writing it is a really interesting process and that and recent training projects has made me think about how to distill what people really need to do to get started with live streaming (whether they want to stream events, shows, webinars, conferences, podcast recordings or anything else). So I took a break from juggling content production and book writing to create this quick guide.
Hardware, software, platform and format options are bewildering. To help people to get started with live streaming, we decided to write a quick-start guide.

Urgula is a Techno producer and live performer based in Glasgow. Along with being resident here at RM he runs a monthly live electronic music night Noisebox at Bloc+ in Glasgow and also runs a small label Subplant records. He performs live regularly using hardware synths and modular and has had releases on a number of labels Including, Berlins Flash recordings, Chicagos Format Rec and Funk D’voids Breakthru and recently released an album “Caustic Manifesto” on Glasgow’s Bricolage records.
Noise box is a monthly live electronic music night held at Bloc+ Glasgow, the next night is Thursday 21st December feat egebamyasi and Urgula playing live.

**Georgina Penstkart**
Georgina Penstkart is an A/V artist and DJ from Glasgow. Combining her passion for music and visual arts, she creates unique performances using a setup consisting of modular synthesisers, which allow her to manipulate and sculpt sound and video in real time. With haunting melodies and eerie harmonies. Georgina's compositions combine elements of granular vocals, Roland JX-3P, theremin and modular synths creating an immersive sonic experience and experimental quality to her work, allowing her to create complex and intricate soundscapes. Her performance will evoke a sense of mystery and intrigue, drawing inspiration from MR James classic Christmas ghost stories. She plays with tension and creates a chilling atmosphere, immersing the listener in a world filled with darkness and suspense. Her compositions transport listeners to another realm, where they can experience the magic and mystery of a Christmas ghost story.

Modular Techno done right!
The all modular live techno show Noise Box Glasgow turn 1 tomorrow! Not many club nights can pull off a modular live gig well let alone a full years worth of gigs. “It will be a year to the date on the 27th, since the first Noise Box, 12 months of live electronic music of every genre, from some of the cities most established and emerging talents. For some, noise box was their first live gig and for others a chance to shake of the effects of the Covid Lockdown and get back to doing what they Love. Id like to thank everyone who has taken part and all those that support this free night, and ask those that haven't graced us with their presence yet to come down and help us celebrate our 1st birthday in BLOC with two amazing live Acts. see you in the 27th of April “
