It’s hard to beat an urban streamer eat! This hungry brownie annihilated a copper shuggy tied on a size 4 FW550 mini jig hook in the head of a deep pool. I also lost a very respectable trout of about 2lb on a snag; my first dry fly ear of the year (it took a jingler naturally). Having a rod that can handle heavy metal with ease while still excelling at delicate presentations is essential for those of us who like to vary our approach on the river. I’m learning that my new 9ft 4wt Streamflex rod does all that and more 🎣🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
