Ailie & Joel 🧡 What. A. Wedding. From the moment I arrived the energy was through the roof! @simonhirdweddings and I could tell from the way the girls were in the morning that this wedding was going to be a belter and a belter it was! A stunning outdoor ceremony @gilmertonhouse and the sun came out just at the right moment as Ailie & Joel were about to walk back up the aisle. Followed by a gorgeous drinks reception with some heartfelt speeches by their close family and friends 🧡. We even managed to catch a rainbow on the couple shoot in the field. 🌈🧡 Then it went INSANE. At Adam & Stephen’s wedding I got the chance to shoot a little bit of Super 8 and I was so excited when I got my reel back from @on8mil ! Sadly the camera that I had died shortly after the confetti (the joys of working with tech from the 70’s) but I’ve since bought 2 more bodies as a backup! But I did manage to capture a bit of the stunning ceremony room where @jordanaevents and the team worked their magic at the gorgeous @carlowrie_castle There’s something romantic about the imperfections of super 8 film 🎥 🎞️🧡. I now offer Super 8 as an add on to any of the packages, where you will get a separate super 8 film and if it fits ill add some of the super 8 footage to the Feature & Highlight films. When it comes to almost setting yourself on fire before/during/just post ceremony I’m pretty sure @nikismithcelebrant should have a gold medal by now 🥇 😂. I totally forgot about this moment, and it wasn’t until I was sitting down to edit @adamjwhite1 & @stephwhite84 gorgeous ceremony @carlowrie_castle , with the stunning decor by @jordanaevents that I came across this gem. 🧡 Stephen had asked if someone could try and light one of the candles that had gone out. Niki then tried to give it a go. Unfortunately for her, Niki had the lighter round the wrong way and proceeded to send the flame right up her sleeve. A real funny moment that had the guests in stitches! 🤣 Another close call @nikismithcelebrant ! 😂.
