“Nothing pretentious, just simply delicious.” 😋

That perfectly sums up the new Rockfish on Budleigh beach which mixes traditional beach café fare with some truly inspirational seafood dishes.

The Café draws on the Spanish chiringuitos which are pop up cafés that operate right off the beach often turning old boats in BBQs, serving up delicious, fresh local seafood in snack or full meal portions 🥘

🌟 Heritage Open Days 🌟

Join in with England’s largest festival of history and culture by taking part in thousands of volunteer-led events – all for free! 🤩

This year, events will be taking place between 6th – 15th September, with hundreds of activities adopting this year’s theme, Routes – Networks – Connections.

It’s a fantastic opportunity to see hidden places, partake in experiences and activities from yesteryear, join guided walks and tours, and learn about local heritage, entirely free of charge (including access to many sites that usually charge admission).

We’ve already been and had a look around the gorgeous National Trust Killerton and are planning a trip to Lydford Gorge National Trust this weekend - which Heritage Open Day will you visit?
