The May issue of the One Magazine is dropping through letterboxes all across Devon and that can only mean one thing – pop the kettle on and settle down with a cuppa for a jolly good read! ☕️🤓
It’s bluebell season so of course, this month’s walk had to offer the opportunity to soak up one of the most spectacular displays in Devon. Make sure you don’t miss the Emsworthy Mire Bluebell Walk managed by Devon Wildlife Trust – find the map and detailed walk instructions in the mag 💙
We also took a trip to Beer Quarry Caves Official where we loved discovering the network of underground caverns that were first carved by the Romans – it’s a great day out 🤩 As is A la Ronde - National Trust Exmouth’s unique 16-sided house which is undergoing a huge restoration culminating in an immersive visitor exhibition open now until October. After all that exploring we were half starved, so slid into The Ivy Collection in Exeter to sample their updated 1917 menu – a celebration of the flavours and textures from dishes that have graced their tables for more than a century 🍽️ Even better, it’s competitively priced at just £19.17 for two courses, providing the perfect opportunity to sample the famous grandeur if you haven’t yet had the chance to.
