With our friends at Carbon Aware, we've planted trees along the river in the Kyle of Sutherland catchment zone.

Our short film, “My Room On This Earth: A Small Film About A Big Song” is now available to stream via Apple TV & iTunes!

Recorded live at The Proclaimers summer 2019 Edinburgh Castle concerts, "My Room On This Earth" tells the story of one of the band's most iconic and emotive songs, "Sunshine On Leith". This short film captures a very special performance of the band performing in Edinburgh and helps explain why "Sunshine On Leith" resonates so much with audiences around the world.

Proceeds from the sale of the film will be donated to the Leith-based charity, Citadel Youth Centre.

We are so excited to share our latest project with you!

This is the story of 'Nettie', The Macallan's managing director from 1918 to 1938, and the trail-blazing heart of the brand's history.

A whole host of cinematic forces came together to create the biggest commercial shot in Scotland this year. Directed by the Bafta award-winning, Mike Newell (Four Weddings and a Funeral), written by world-renowned screenwriter, Allan Scott (The Queen's Gambit, Don't Look Now), and shot by Oscar-nominated cinematographer, Michael Coulter (Sense and Sensibility), the film's makers and story have roots in a pioneering history.

We are so proud to tell the timely story of a woman's strength, at a time when a woman's place in society, let alone her position of power, was questioned and challenged.

A big thank you to The Leith Agency, the wonderful client at The Macallan and everyone involved in the making of this film!

We're delighted to welcome the newest member to the Filming Scotland team - Fraser Jamieson.

Fraser has recently joined Filming Scotland as a Producer/Executive Producer and will be taking the lead on many of our projects.

Scottish by descent, Fraser has been London based and involved creatively in commercials since the late 90’s. Initially as a Director and then as a Producer, he has an extensive knowledge of the entire process within the commercial film production industry. He has recently returned north of the border to join Filming Scotland as Producer/Executive Producer across all commercial and branded content campaigns and projects.
