Hey all,

So heres the thing, to help me keep Cat's Claw Records going past 2024, i need to sell some records, i have put 20% off everything in store, some records work out at only £7 a pop...

Moving forward i really want to keep helping the best bands  put out the best music and adding loads more amazing distro. I run Cat's Claw Records as a not for profit, so every penny i make goes straight back into the label.

After spending the last 15+ years releasing skate-punk tunes in , is taking a break from the 220bpm life and gearing up to release his second solo album: Cat Person, a follow up to 2020’s debut Nine Lives.

“We’re sticking with the cat theme* for acoustic album number two!” explains Pat “Although this record has a few punk-ish songs with a full band too”.

The Pat Decline band made their first live appearance at a sold out show in Fremantle supporting The Smith Street Band this April, performing new singles Publicly Happy and King of Soda Pop off the upcoming album.

Cat Person was produced and engineered by Daniel Antix at in Kurnell, NSW and will be released by us on July 19th.

I'm also teaming up with my rad as F punk mates at (USA) and (Australia) for our international friends.

Cat Person will be available on three limited LP variants this July and will (hopefully) interest fans of Jeff Rosenstock, Brian Fallon, Dave Hause, Scott Reynolds and Frank Turner, although we aren’t promising anything! 🤟

*Disclaimer: No actual songs about cats, artwork only sorry! Although, chips and pizza get a few mentions. 😻
