Purposeful films, made possible. Films don’t come much more purposeful than this. It was fantastic to witness first hand the work that the Bearwood Community Hub team and volunteers do. Listening to the stories from individuals was hard at times, but also uplifting - the impact this organisation has on the wellbeing of the local community is clear!

Bearwood Community Hub needs a permanent home, and they have a rare chance to secure the perfect building on their local High Street.

The Corks building has a rich legacy and is also home to Silvershine Jazz, Birmingham Youth Theatre, and many others who will be displaced if it's sold to developers. Purchasing this building would revitalise the high street and provide a lasting home for the Community Hub and the current users.

Here's one of a series of films we've recently delivered to our clients Wesleyan. The Next Step programme was launched in 2018, with the goal of helping medical and dental students navigate the major milestones of university and working life.

Wesleyan recognised there's often a knowledge gap for students transitioning to the workplace: What might they expect from working in a hospital/practice? What life skills or insights might prove useful?

Produced and directed by Leanne, we sourced a location in Harborne and spent two days filming some incredibly hard working young medics and dentists, with top camera ops Jamie and George.

The vision was for a set of videos that work both together and independently, that are conversational, warm, informal, and informative, with 'straight from the horse's mouth' discussion between peers about the challenges of starting work, and some top tips along the way.
