Five slices of typically wonked-out, leftfield disco here from Secret Soul Society, AKA deep house, downtempo and Balearic veteran Cal 'Neon Heights' Gibson. Opener 'Feel So Crazy' comes on like 80s soul/boogie heard from the depths of a K-hole, 'Shake It Up' is lively and strutty with a distinctive spoken vocal, 'Whatchagonnado' takes us through the door marked "dark, druggy and throbbing," 'Everybody On The Dancefloor' marries early 80s pop beats to a Scissor Sisters-esque falsetto vocal snip, and closer 'Lively Friends' is an anthemic, rock-tinged builder that was surely built with festival sets in mind.
