The track comes from their forthcoming debut album "Nocturnal Sickness,” due out February 18, 2022 on the The Other Records (CD/LP/MC) and Desert Wastelands Productions (North America, CD/MC). The 10-song album was mixed in Helsinki, Finland at Studio Kolotila by Olli Nokkala and mastered by Jaakko Viitalähde. The cover art features the apocalyptic visions of Italian master Paolo Girardi. Look for preorders to start in January.

Puolitoista vuotta sitten aloitettiin tämän bändin debyytti EPn äänitys. Haasteita riitti, kuten Hki-Kuopio-Tampere välimatkat soittajien välillä m***a niistä kaikista selvittiin. Joulukuussa 2020 kaikki materiaali oli purkissa. Kaikki oli tyytyväisiä suorituksiinsa. Mahtavaa.

Vuoden vaihteen jälkeen kävikin sitten hassusti. Studiokoneen projektikovo hajosi. Monen bändin materiaalit meni, myös tämän bändin. Ei backuppeja(nyt muuten on). Aloitettiin koko levy alusta.

Se kannatti. Tuli tiukempi.

Tänään maanantaina julkaistava Karusalemin Psykedelirium EP tulee jäämään ikuisesti muistoihini. Kiitos Samuli, Kai, Antti ja sessiorummuissa feattaava Makkonen.

A year and a half ago we started recording the debut EP of this band. We had some obstacles like having all the players reside in different cities but we survived all that. At december 2020 we had everything recorded and everyone was happy for the results. Great!

After the new year, everything went to hell. The harddrive from the studios computer blew up. Four bands lost their stuff, including this one. No backups(thats fixed btw). We had to record everything again from the start.

It was worth it.

This monday Karusalem releases Psykedelirium Ep that I will remember forever. Thank you Samuli, Kai, Antti and also sessiondrummer Makkonen.

Little custom ambient project for setting a mood in a forest path in my hometowns arthouse. 8 individual ambient tracks composed in same key, rippled through small speakers in an area creating droneish ambient mood combined with the natural sounds of the forest. Can't wait to see/hear in in action!

N**e microphones and the Swiss army knife ribbon mic I brought from Australia. This Blumlein mic is just perfect for capturing natural reverbs for drums and such. In here capturing the studio room hallway. One of my all time favorites.

Last month we released our first single ”Burn” from our upcoming LP and today we sent the whole record to pressing plant! 🔥

We want to thank our friends at Fast Decade Records for releasing this fast melodic skate punk album with us and Punk & Disorderly Records and Mud Cake Records for distribution once we get the record out.

And our biggest gratitude goes to Olli from Studio Kolotila making the album sound so good!
