Dear friends! 👋

🤘 November 23-24, the Strings and Things music festival will take place at two concert venues in Helsinki! This festival showcases performers playing string instruments. 🎸🪕🎻

Our festival focuses on instrumental music, welcoming original compositions and unique arrangements, as well as performers of folk music or traditional string instruments. At this time, we are not considering bands working in the genres of pop, rock, metal, or hip-hop.

We invite professionals, amateurs, and young musicians to participate in the festival—both solo performers and instrumental bands! 🔥

If you play a string instrument and want to join the festival as a performer, please fill out the application form and submit it along with your music or music videos!

This year we are focusing on acoustic instruments.

Applications will be accepted until October 10, 2024, and all submissions will be reviewed by October 15, 2024.

The most interesting performers will receive an invitation to participate in the festival! 💥

Yesterday, the final recital of the Strings and Things studio took place at the Lastenkulttuurikeskus Musikantit!

Thank you to everyone who was with us that evening!
Thanks to our talented students for their excellent work and to their parents for their support! You are awesome!

Thanks to all the technical staff at "Musikantit" who worked on this concert. Everything went wonderfully thanks to you!

A special huge thanks to Suvi Nyström and Niklas Nyström for their fruitful collaboration, support, and invaluable experience they shared with us.
We wish you all the best, new successful projects, prosperity, and many new talented students!

On 19.05.24, the recital concert was held at the Strings and Things Ry studio.

We would like to thank:

1. All the concert participants for their wonderful performances! You are amazing!

2. The parents, relatives, and friends of our talented students for their support and belief in their children. Thanks to you, we continue to thrive!
