You may know of heart-wrenching stories of Palestinian cities. Did you know about that of Lyd?
We were commissioned to craft a 10-minute animated segment imagining what could have been the city’s possible future as part of a 90-minute documentary film about the history of Lyd. The film is directed by Friedland and Younis.
Fun fact: The film’s executive producer is the legendary Roger Waters of Pink Floyd.

The second edition of animatex has finished!
Congratulations to all who won during the competetions and thanks to everyone who participated with us from the first workshops that were very useful, the judging committees, and all the interesting and distinctive discussions that had new and important ideas and information.
A special thanks to all the volunteers and everyone who attended the festival, helped, and contributed to making the festival come as-is.

You may know of heart-wrenching stories of Palestinian cities. Did you know about that of Lyd? We were commissioned to craft a 10-minute animated segment imagining what could have been the city’s possible future as part of a 90-minute documentary film about the history of Lyd. The film is directed by @Sarah Friedland and @Rami Younis. Fun fact: The film’s executive producer is the legendary Roger Waters of Pink Floyd.
