Out now ! Claudia Melani was born in Florence and lived in Berlin from 1985 to 2000. She began working as a bass player with drummer and percussionist Britta Neander on various music productions in 1987. Through Britta's daughter, she came into contact with Felix Wolter in 2015. During the second lockdown at Covid19, Claudia asked Felix to send her a drum track on which she could play the bass, preferably in an atmosphere of absolute relaxation and without spatiotemporal constraints. After Claudia had recorded the bass she thought of Giorgio Gatto, whom she met in 2018 at a workshop of the Fonterossa Open Orchestra by Silvia Bolognesi. She asked him if he felt inspired to contribute something with the saxophone. After Claudia's bass and drums with a few keyboard tracks by Felix had laid the backing, Giorgio's saxophone breathed the necessary balanced lightness into the joint music. Felix did the final mix and Claudia a video.
The result is more than the sum of the musicians. Full of gratitude in mindfulness, the three musicians now present – Pueblo
