Es war 2013 – die CONRAD MILLER BAND hatte gerade ihren Sänger verloren, so beschloss man, dass fortan alle Bandmitglieder Conrad sind. Dazu gab es noch die Anekdote, dass der Meister des Hades aus der Unterwelt des Blues zurückkehrt um die Greatest Hits des Genres zu servieren. Vor ausverkauftem Club gab die CMB in ihrer Hometown ein Special unter tosendem Applaus. Abgesehen von den ersten Gigs war dies der Moment des neuen Coming Outs. Wie es der Zufall will gab es ein Aufnahmegerät im Publikum, so wie in den guten, alten Zeiten. Hier nun die Raubkopie der wahrhaft ersten CMB Single. Wtf? [Bootleg = Schmuggelware] Mittlerweile ist es 10 Jahre her. Dieser Livemitschnitt ist legendär!

LP Album Release: CONRAD MILLER BAND - "Remastered From Hades" 31.03.2023

Hier hat die CMB ein echtes Update hingelegt. Aus dem Erstlingswerk "Back From The Hades Of Blues Rock" und der zweiten EP "Radio Edits" ist nun ein Album entstanden, und eben frisch "Remastered From Hades". So gesehen nichts neues, jedoch vereint es alle Versionen der bisherigen Produktionen, Bootlegs sind jedoch ausgeschlossen. Mit dabei Hits wie Bobby Blue Bland's "Ain't No Love In The Heart Of The City" oder "Help Me" von Sonny Boy Williamson II. Immerhin hatten alle diese Songs insgesamt 160k Streams generiert. Ein guter Achtungserfolg, so darf an dieser Stelle resümiert werden, doch ist noch der finale Schritt vom Local Hero zum Weltstar zu vollziehen. Der Hades ist schließlich nicht genug.

Them 6th singer in a row Keith Ellis (R.I.P.) did a great and emotional job on this record from 1997. So we have to remind the 25th anniversary and the sudden break of the band. But still for more to come. Anyway Producer Kai Reuter did a fantastic work on this. He is just the best around and even as a guitar player or songwriter. We have to say sorry for this.
