Everything that makes up our world is only an illusion.
We see in the things and people around us only what we project, as if everything were only an empty pattern, for some a blank canvas, on which the result of our expectations of the world is printed.
We create our own reality.
However, the consensus that allows us to exist on the same plane of consciousness imposes on all of us a formal, palpable reality, within which we are all locked up, forgetting the power we have over what surrounds us.
The ability to open breaches towards new forms of perceptions and interpretations is inherent to artists, wise men and Shamans, who for millennia were one.
It is from this origin that the work of art draws its sacred status. Through his creative gesture, the artist touches the divine. He makes his concepts an invocation.
Under his hand, the most common of objects becomes a relic. By his will alone, his Muse become an Icon.
It is not surprising that some art works climb to the top of the scale of values; they simply have no price.
The exhibition "KØЛØ" is conceived as a mise en abyme, an initiatory path inviting us to kexplore the link between art and the sacred.
