Here is the Berlin Wall , erected on the 13th of august 1961.It covered a total distance of 151 km and 3.6m high
It was built to bar the Communist controlled East Berlin from the socialist controlled West Berlin
Death was the penalty for any attempt to cross over from the East to the West.Many we shot dead at sight while attempting.
The physical n psychological effect were damaging.
But eventually when the voices of the people could no longer be subdued n too loud to be ignored the wall was finally pulled down on ..nov 1989
Why can’t we come together as a people ,a family,a bond and pull down the wall of oppression,suppression,corruption,injustice,insecurity,poverty,hunger,nepotism,totalitarianism,authoritarianism,kleptocracy,unemployment barring and depriving us as a race of freedom,human rights,justice,eco-socio-political stability,employment,security,good governance,transparency and peace
If only we don’t quit
If only we don’t relent
If only we come together
If only we don’t stop d noise
Then one day will b one day ,when we shall b free at last.
