Buckle up, fellow aficionados of interstellar intrigue.

I.S.S. the movie is orbiting and ready to enter the atmosphere of a cinema near you. The movie tells the story of two opposing crews of astronauts thrust together on the International Space Station with their countries at war 400 km below them. The drama goes into warp speed as they engage in their own cosmic showdown with each other to take control of the craft by any means necessary.

The Dazzle Pictures team suited up to create some literally out-of-this-world for the film, including zero-gravity simulations.

This is not your ordinary messiah flick.

"The Book of Clarence" is a sassy, hip movie that comes at you straight out of 33 A.D., and tells the story of a streetwise hustler just trying to make a better life for himself and his family. Transfixed by a rising messiah figure with an entourage of 12 apostles, he risks it all for a shot at his own divine redemption.

The Dazzle Pictures wizards were once again part of the team that created a visual world fit for Roman emperors and biblical characters alike.

The movie had its world premiere at the 67th London Film Festival on October 11, 2023, with a wider theatrical release on January 12, 2024.

It’s Friday fri-yay. We thought we’d have a bit of fun.

Was Hugh Grant trolling us with his rather eccentric interview on the red carpet at the Oscars? He’s always been known for his dry wit and dare we say, sarcasm. It seems the British actor has made the journey from rom-com heartthrob to everybody’s favourite curmudgeonly star.

We still love you Hugh Grant. And we loved you in “Operation Fortune: Ruse de Guerre,” which we’re pleased to say, our Dazzling VFX also played a role.

Saudia, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s national airline, celebrates Foundation Day with a magical journey through ancient lands that starts in the historical capital and Al Diriyah 300 years ago and continues to the end of future days.​

Dazzle Pictures pulled out all the stops to make this little film take flight, starting with on-set supervision to make sure everything was “just so,” to some dazzling digital matte painting by our amazing artists, and of course, loads of graphics and compositing. ​

Diriyah is a UNESCO world heritage site that was meticulously brought back to its former glory mud brick by mud brick. Today it stands as one of Saudi Arabia’s premier tourist destinations. Dazzle Pictures was tasked with visualising the development of the famous valley, Wadi Hanifa, on which the site sits. From concept art through to final matte painting, with visual treatments in between, we invite you to take a look at how we helped bring this ancient site back to life.​

What the Dickens? It’s Christmas time again.​

We’re always up for a good Christmas story, and when it’s an award-winning BBC gothic adaptation of the famous Charles Dickens novel, A Christmas Carol, we’re all in, boots and all. Dazzle Pictures’ visual wizards worked closely with Framestore London to create many set extensions throughout the three-part mini-series, including creating realistic snowfall and snow cover.

No time machines were used in our recreation of Medieval Prague.

For the film Medieval, we took Prague back to a time some 600 years in the past. Much attention was paid to recreating a historically accurate view of the City, especially one of Prague’s most famous and recognizable architectural treasures and Europe’s oldest functioning bridge, the Charles Bridge. Sheer magic from our artists, compositors, and operators.

Bringing Moussy’s malty flavor to life with mouth-watering special effects and flying people. All in a day’s work at Dazzle Pictures.

Here’s a fun little piece for our friends at Moussy for Middle Eastern markets. We began with remote on-set supervision, then oversaw all VFX from our Prague HQ, including retouching of the flying actors’ rigging, exploding walls, and VFX magic throughout.

Straight outta Essex – or how we brought a giant mythical serpent to life.

Scary good news from our mythical-monsters division. See how Dazzle Pictures breathed life into the eponymous serpent from the gothic period drama The Essex Serpent. From concept to full realization, starting with animatics and moving on to the skillful work of animation, lighting, shading, rendering, and compositing by our gifted team of visual artists, Dazzle Pictures took the lead in the creation of this mythical creature.
