MITSI returns! After joining us at the inaugural Ophan, Maria is back. This time she returns with a wealth of experience accumulated via many parties of the local scene but also a few abroad. MITSI specialises in real-time (live~ generative) visuals and projection mapping and will be performing her magic for us for 10 straight hours!

One specialises in crafting meticulously precise, deep musical journeys, while the other thrives on thrilling and surprising the audience with rollercoaster-like sets. Regardless, their strong friendship and vast experience in the field come together to foster a powerful spirit of teamwork and harmony. As a result, the outcome is always captivating and of very high calibre.

In their capacity as owners of Sousami and organisers of Afro Banana Republic, Afrofox have done wonders for our local scene. As a dj duo, their more than a decade-long symbiosis becomes evident upon experiencing one of their adventurous sets. Their signature sound is characterised by chunky drums and an infectious rhythm which comes as no surprise considering their unwavering conviction that dancing is a significant human endeavour.

She loves electro and we love her for it! Vinyl enthusiast Nausicaä is the cofounder of Athenian label and party series REVOLT whose help was instrumental in having Onur Özer play in Cyprus. The past year she has been touring Europe and it was only a matter of time until she graces us with her debut appearance at one of our parties.

Thrilled to reveal that our special guest is none other than Onur Özer!

Ophan was born as a festival and we never envisioned a single day party. However, a special happening is not deemed as such by the number of its participants nor the days it runs for.

Since 2018 our primary goal was to have Onur perform in Cyprus and every obstacle and failure only reinforced this desire.

Having Onur play for us is so much more than a single day party, it’s a dream whose manifestation could only materialise through perseverance and dedication and it is proudly and most appropriately an Ophan happening.

Janis Plasmatik is one of the people who have played a really important role in the scene, who, with his associates and friends, helped drive the minimal movement in Cyprus, helping to bring a pantheon of legendary artists from a:rpia:r and the likes. A DJ of our hearts. Socrates is a very playful mixer, who has had a lot of time to refine his sound and technique. He’s a master collector with a permanent smile, a dancefloor controller who plays with style. He is one of the minds behind Ophan, a project which reflects his love for the music scene. Niko Mas is a collective hallucination that the scene started seeing around 5 years ago. He just appeared one day, holding a USB. He then founded Crossdressing Diogenes, which ran as a fanzine for rave culture in Cyprus for several years, and is now a somewhat eclectic publishing entity that produces magazines, essays, and music. Experience his sophisticated sound at 10 on Saturday morning.

BillyD is well known to us all, and one of the most respected mixers in the scene, with an artisanal record collection and a lot of practice. He is one of the founders of Barking Cats Radio last year, a project which the community is really grateful for. Catch him on morning duties at 730 on Saturday!
