MURecords - Minor Underground Recording Studio
Minor Underground is an advanced and diverse production label located in the heart of Nicosia, the capital of Cyprus which offers audio and visual services of the highest quality. Our goal is to create a “house of & for the arts” and provide an all-inclusive studio including personnel, gear, ideas, vision and technical expertise, so that with our help the artist can fulfil their artistic vision exactly as they have imagined it and without any compromise, as we focus on the authenticity and individuality of the nature of our clients.
MU was founded in December 2015, and since then has managed to sponsor more than 50 events, collaborate with two of the biggest venues in Nicosia CY and promote more than 80 single artists and music bands from all over the world through interviews which have been published on MU’s official website. In April 2017, MU organised its first event for local artists where more than 200 people attended. Finally, MU’s photography team has covered many events, including two which were for charity and other cultural causes.
Since December 2017, Minor Underground’s office and studio has been located in the heart of Nicosia, the capital of Cyprus and employs more than 10 freelancers and co-operates with other recording studios and production labels from Greece and the United Kingdom. Our specially designed studio with the industry’s best recording and sound proof technology, operated by our experienced team of sound engineers, is the ideal place for you to be creative and let those creative juices start flowing. Our equipment and engineers have the ability and expertise to cater your every need. Whether it’s an acapella or single, EP or 12 track album, whether you’re a solo artist or a 10 piece orchestra, we listen to what your objectives are and aid you in fulfilling them. Over the last six months, MU has managed to work on several music projects for artists in Europe and is responsible for the music composition and the sound design of two short films of local directors. At the moment, there are many projects running simultaneously in different departments such as music album recordings, short films by MU and other relevant projects.
