Itinerant' is the new album from Manchester based producer Fthmlss. A project inherently defined by the process in which it was created, born in a transportable studio across multiple landscapes and various spots of natural beauty. This is composing in its rawest form drawing from a total immersion in new surroundings.

Above all else it is an ode to the wilderness, created in the wilderness far away from the conventional studio. It's a cathartic record heavily informed by the environments it was produced in, and acts very much as a detox for this artist who is becoming known for his detailed, yet accessible, conceptual works that elevate him above the average beatmaker on the scene today.
Explaining further in his own words:
"I created this album in my car and at a variety of my favourite local spots around the Peak District. I’ve always immersed myself within nature to inspire and kickstart my creativity and it seemed only fitting whilst living out of my car to bring my studio along for the ride and embrace the nomadic free-roaming lifestyle."

Liquid atmospherics glide and ooze over a tough drum break and sub bass chasm to provide the juxtaposition that regular listeners of the producer will be more than familiar with. Christie's vocals are repurposed into an esoteric call from the ether as the hypnotizing rhythms pull the listener in deeper and deeper.
