Well tonight at midnight my new single will be dropping! It's called "Piper in the Streets". I'd like to thank David Cyrenne for mastering this a few weeks back! I will be releasing more music (Undercover Volume 2 and more original stuff) very soon. My plan is to release the backlog of songs i've written over the past 4 decades as i get to them. The funny thing is.....being an old school musician, these songs will have a 70s and 80s vibe and 80% of the people following me on TikTok and You Tube are really into that. I'm thankful that I've been able to tap into that demographic of listeners and see their comments! I guess i have to thank my kids for pushing me to get online and create music videos. It took 15 years and a pandemic to get me to respond! Check out the new track tonight at midnight and thanks for listening the way you have!!

Wednesdays i always post one of my videos! If you saw my post earlier today, you would have read that STYX saw one of my cover videos and decided to post it on their official STYX page! That was pretty cool considering i grew up a huge fan! It's funny how a band like the Eagles would frown on covers to the point of policing it regularly, while a band like STYX loves to see people cover their catalogue! Pretty awesome! On this Wednesday i thought I'd post a video that i made with Alex Bonadonna from Leave Those Kids Alone during one of our lessons last year!! He's even better now!! This dude is on fire and he's so knowledgable regarding theory, reading and improvising. That doesn't happen very often. Here's a throw back to the 90s! This show was part of a high school concert tour i did back then. We played 10 or 12 shows all over ....across a few months! It was electric for sure!! I wonder if any of you recognize a John Pizzuto, or Marcello Garrissi, Mike Muzzatti or Michael LaCroix.

Here's one for you Tanzen / London fans. You can find this track on our 2017 re-issue of our album from 1986. The album was called "Piece by Peace" and a few years back we had a chance to add 4 bonus tracks to the 9 songs that we originally recorded.

The song in this video was supposed to be included on the album back in 86 but we ran out of time, so we included it as one of the bonus tracks in 2017. When we were doing the sessions back in the 80s I seem to recall that we recorded the bed tracks for this but we never got to the overdubs. Maybe one of the other guys remembers better than me. The re-issue was released by Steel Heart Records in Europe and one of the songs (Send Out a Message) hit number one on the Christian Rock Charts. If you'd like a copy message anyone of us, thanks!!

Over the last few years my tik tok and you tube channels have exposed me to a whole new crowd of people from all over. I've had many enquiries asking if i teach on line and also how one might go about purchasing the vocal and guitar books i've written. Others have asked for physical copies of my CDs. Up until know i didn't have anything set up to do this. I finally have a Shopify store set up online where you can get these items. This includes books, CDs, downloadable vocal and guitar exercises. Today my new single "Private Strangers" is out! You can find it anywhere you get your music. This is a song i wrote in the early 90s for a movie that unfortunately never made it out of production. I found the song on an old cassette a few months ago and decided to re-record it and release it even though i didn't write this for me to use. Here's a song that i wrote some decades back. I never actually recorded this properly or released it. In the late 80's/early 90s i had a publishing deal with BMG Music Canada and this was one of the songs that they took for TV/Movie placements. It actually was supposed to be used in a movie but the movie got axed and never made it through production. I wrote this for the actually story line in the film so i never considered using it for my self until now. Slowly I hope to get to recording all the stuff I’ve written over the years and put them up on all platforms. Check it out and share if you’d be so kind!

One of the things that i really enjoy doing is covering a song into a completely different genre. In this case i took a Van Halen song and twisted it into a jazzy ballad. I'm not sure that my daughter will like the idea of me posting something with her in it from when she was a kid, but here goes. Check it out Van Halen jazzed up featuring my daughter Christie. This is my latest cover video! Being that i have an older brother who introduced me to the band Chicago at a very early age, i was able to really develop an appreciation for the musicianship in their 70s period. My very first concert was at the old Olympia in Detroit seeing Chicago. My brother Nino took me and it blew me away. I kinda decided right there that i wanted to be a full time musician. It's that time of year again!! Music lesson enrolment is in full swing. Believe it or not this is the 60th year that the Conservatory has been operating here in Essex County. We took over the business in 1990, so it's been 33 years for us!! It's been one heck of a ride and i certainly never thought that i'd be doing this for this long! We've had the privilege of training thousands of students over the last 4 decades and i'm especially proud that many of them are professional musicians today!
