The government of British Columbia has launched the Racist Incident Helpline to help people who experienced or witnessed racism in the province.
This helpline, which will be available from Monday to Friday, offers support in 240 languages, making it easier for people to report their experiences. Importantly, you don't have to live in British Columbia to use this service; it's open to anyone who has encountered racism within the province.
The service is anonymous, so personal data will not be collected. Only general data will be to help track trends and improve resources as needed.
