production companies, performing artists, broadcasters, advertising agencies, corporations and entertainment professionals.

After several months of research and planning, our upgrade is complete:
• MAC Studio M2 MAX with Pro Tools 2023.8 & Logic 10.7
• Hedd Type 20 MK2 3-way time-aligned audio monitors
• Dell 34” - 21:9 ratio curved monitor & auxiliary monitor
• Neumann U87 large diaphragm mic
• Manley Core tube mic preamp
• API 550B EQ
This stuff should do us for quite a while . . .
Until the next greatest thing comes along . . .
Summer is usually slow . . . not this year. MAC Studio M2 is on it's way.

After wiring in the new MAC Studio into my setup, I realized the span of MACs through the years.
On the left, a 2006 MAC Mini Duo Core.
On the right, a 2022 MAC Studio 10-Core.
Both serving a purpose and going strong.

I have a new client. I think I’ll be using AutoTune a lot.
We just got the TC Electronics MD4 HD and it's amazing. Crystal clear multi-band compression with mid & side isolation. It is one of many software versions of their world-renown Series 6000 hardware system. You can hear how it brings the mix to-your-face in this example:
