Assignments often take us someplace surprising and this one was close to home! Helicopter Transport Services at the Carp Airport supply many working helicopters for use all across Canada and up into the far north. They support forest fire fighting, mining and all kinds of activities. Their maintenance facility is at the Carp Airport. The bigger of these two was an amazing 1968 vintage "Huey" of the kind used in Vietnam. This is a civilian version of the Bell 205.
