Auditions for Arknet Pilot Episode (2nd Round)
“Please read everything before applying, VERY IMPORTANT”
Hello everyone, Absurd Concepts will be collecting self-tape auditions for the following roles below and only these rolls at the moment, more rolls coming soon in February 2024. Description below,
If you have already auditioned it isn't necessary to apply again, everyone will have a chance if selected to self tape for a role.
Company: Absurd Concepts
Genre: Sci-Fi Action/Drama
Length: 43 mins approx. (Pilot Episode)
Compensation: Not-Paid / Food and IMDB Credit / Demo reel footage of your choice.
Non-Union only or UDA (Unfortunately cannot use Actra actors for this project)
Producers: Sergio Dos Santos / Adam Hemi / Danielle Kaymore / Micheline Chartier

Goal: To create a pilot episode of a new concept to either obtain budget for a season, or get other compensation from a larger production company to start a series from our story.

Characters to Audition for:

Jimmy: (Male)
This guy is one of the NSA best computer hacker/analysts that is known for breaking through biometric locks and is also known to be great at software programming. He is a soldier first and trusted friend of Dakota and Asher.

Hazel: (Female)
A brilliant scientist that takes the future very seriously and has been an honor student her whole life throughout her time in school. The creator of the Ark Amplifier, timid and honest with everyone but very intelligent. She is the future of Arknet.

Military Extras:
Anyone with combat experience, or can make a fight look realistic can send photos/demo reels to us. There will be some lines will be given to make each extra military unit more lively.

Important rules and information.
We require all applicants to be free weekends, or easily free with heads up. (MOST IMPORTANT)
We have to rent certain spaces at a high price and need flexible schedules.
Those who fit the roles will be sent script to practice and create self-tapes.

Genre: Sci-Fi Action/Drama
Length: 43 mins approx. (Pilot Episode)
Compensation: Not-Paid/Food and IMDB Credit/Demo reel footage of your choice. All actors get equity share of any profits made and a copy of the full finished product when the festival runs are complete.
Non-Union only or UDA

Danielle Kaymore / Micheline Chartier

Character to Audition for:
Lucas: (Male)
Viola’s right hand man. Strong, Fierce and intimidating, he only respects those who are more dangerous than he is. He left his unit years ago as one of the most feared special ops in his country and decided to go his own way. Expert in combat and smash and grab operations.
Dakota: (Female)
Asher’s closest friend and most trusted field operative. She is tough, and an expert sniper, holding the record for most consecutive kills from 1500 meters than anyone in her branch of the military. Beautiful, quiet and fearless. Never failed a mission and possessing immeasurable will. She entered into the army at 19 and has always been at Asher’s side ever since.

I would like to announce the 3 main actors of Ghost in the Machine that will be joining us to make "Ghost in the Machine". There are also 2 support actors that will be announced once selected.

It's been a while! Good news is that time has been invested in the right place and we are in the semi-final editing of our script for our big project. The next post will most likely be a trailer!

Hey everyone it's been a while! Absurd Concepts is still working with Cinevita Productions on a new upcoming project (Tv Series). we are working behind the scenes and preparing to shoot hopefully in the summer if all goes well with the lockdowns. We are prepping everything to make sure we will be ready, once we are ready I'll be posting more updates!
