Day 2 at the WE Convention Gala Night. A very fruitful night at Armani Hotel Dubai which was packed with celebrities, women of power and global influence.
Dr. Hilda Fankah-Arthur had the opportunity to pitch to many of them who showed tremendous admiration and interest in the work that Centre For Intellectual Excellence does in North America.

Jennifer Lawson, PhD, is the originator and program editor of the Hands-On series, resources used by teachers across Canada. Her most recent book is entitled Teacher, Take Care: A Guide to Well-Being and Workplace Wellness for Educators. In addition to her writing, Jennifer teaches in the Faculty of Education at the University of Manitoba, and is a local School Board Trustee. She is also one of the founders of Mission to Mexico, an organization that works with, and provides supports to, schools in some of the most impoverished communities in Puerto Vallarta. Jennifer is a former classroom teacher, resource/special education teacher, consultant, and principal.

Laura Twigge-Molecey is the managing director for transportation at Hatch, responsible for the rail, highway, bridges, port and aviation business unit. Previously, she was the managing director of engineering delivery, responsible for successful engineering project outcomes for our global engineering services. Laura is a mechanical engineer with an undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin, Texas, USA and a master’s degree in engineering from McMaster University, Hamilton, Canada. For 25 years, Laura has worked globally in various leadership roles for our clients on metals, energy, and infrastructure assignments. While Laura is focused on engineering and project management leadership roles, she also holds several corporate roles at Hatch, including being an active member of Hatch’s Diversity and Inclusion Steering Committee.

Dr Yvonne Kangong, is a mentor , advocate, community builder, and a really talented woman who wears many hats. She is a board-certified family and obesity medicine in Calgary, holding a Master’s degree in Public Health and a Culinary Coaching Certificate from the Harvard CHEF Program; a clinical lecturer at the Cummings School of Medicine, University of Calgary, receiving a teaching award in 2019. Not stopping at that, she is also the founder of Breakers Health, a medical consultancy, weight management and public speaking company, co-owner of KFS BBQ Smokehouse, co- founder of a charitable organization called Diabetic Meals Dispensary. Moreover, she is the Associate Medical Director of the Mosaic Primary Care Network, a transformational and lifestyle coach.
Last but not least, she published book ‘The Warrior Women Project’ A sisterhood of immigrant women , and soon to be released ‘What’s Obesity Got To Do With It’? .

Dr. Cindy Blackstock is a member of the Gitxsan First Nation. Cindy also serve's as the Executive Director of the First Nations Child and Family Caring Society and a professor at McGill University’s School of Social Work.
