Here's a new trailer for a documentary short we've been working on throughout this year for the University of Alberta Sociology Department.
Dr. Gordon Hirabayashi's legacy is one of unwavering courage in the face of injustice. It is a testament of a long life anchored in principle and integrity, and motivated by a deep conviction that societies thrive when justice, peace, and equality are guarded and protected.
We couldn't be more proud to have produced this film and are so thankful for all those that participated in sharing Gordon's story with us. The film will be screening October 3rd to 6th at the National Association of Japanese Canadians conference. An online release will follow after.

Exciting news! Calm Down This is Only the End: The Unfortunates Farewell Story has been nominated for Best Musical or Variety Programs at the 2024 AMPIA Rosie Awards! We're incredibly grateful to The Unfortunates for allowing us to be part of their final show and farewell journey. A huge thank you to AMPIA for the nomination and to everyone who has supported this project!

Guerrilla Motion Pictures has two projects screening at FAVA FEST 2023. On Friday March 8, the music video for 'Counteractive State' by Face the Earth is screening at The Orange Hub from 7-9pm.

And, on Friday March 15 Labeled Docuseries Labeled: The Missing, Murdered, and Forgotten is screening at Fort Edmonton Capitol Theatre from 7-9pm.

When Zara, a young, recovering addict, is told, “she holds the key to the end of time”, she must uncover the truth and in doing so, confront her own troubled past while existing in a city overrun by an oppressive government and a mysterious black smoke looming in the sky.

Told through still photos and filmed during the 2020 pandemic, this is an experimental film about change. It’s a query into memory, and time and the rapid advancement of the human race. It’s a glimpse into the effects of living with a mental health disorder during worldly unrest. And, ultimately serves as an allegory for the increasing anxiety in young adults caused by our ever-changing, unpredictable world.
