Federal Budget 2024

The Home Buyers’ Plan (HBP)

As of April 16, first time home buyers would be able to draw down as much as $60,000, up from the previous limit of $35,000, from their RRSP towards a home purchase. The Home Buyers’ Plan allows individuals to make the withdrawals tax-free from their RRSP as long as it’s paid back into the account over the course of 15 years.

Running water and Road still cut off in many places in Noto.

Affected communities in the central Japanese prefecture of Ishikawa are still struggling more than three weeks after the deadly New Year's Day earthquake. Thousands are still living in temporary shelters, lacking running water and in desperate need of aid.

The Rooftop Restaurant

Climate controlled rooftop patio in the middle of Calgary downtown.

I love "Ceviche" (halibut, prawns, bay scallops, fresno chili, mango, pickled red onion, radish, avocado, micro greens, corn tortilla)

It was a nice touch with 🥭 mango 🥭 and seafood was fresh! Too much tortilla. 😅

Meatatarian (smoked bacon, whiskey fennel sausage, pepperoni, capicola, mozzarella, san marzano tomato sauce)
was a bit too spicy for me, but not bad.😊

My Little Italia

Their appetizers, handmade pasta and risotto were delicious.
I could eat their tiramisu every day.
I even loved a small bun they served.

Zushi, yes this is one of Avenue Magazine Calgary’s Best New Restaurants 2023！

I tried Zushi's Omakase Tray prepared by Chef Jun Young park.
It really reminded me of a Japanese traditional Kaiseki Ryouri. Well done, Chef Jun!

I am extremely impressed by the chef's special "Omakase" sushi (plus a bit more).
High quality authentic Japanese sushi!
I loved all I had!
