Authorities are investigating the death of a woman on Homestead Avenue in the Englerston area on Tuesday., allegedly as a result of a domestic incident. The woman, Theresa Knowles was found in the back of a home around 11:30 with injuries to the upper body. Though the government boasts of record-breaking tourists' arrival to the Bahamas, Opposition Leader Michael Pintard believes it refuses to acknowledge the decrease in the number of stop-over visitors to the Bahamas.

He says there's an increase in cruise passengers to the Bahamas instead. They spend most of their money on board and hardly contribute to local economies.

Pintard said stats show stopover visitors are becoming cruise passengers.

"Using data presented at the Ministry of Tourism’s July 5th press conference, for every 6 percent conversion — representing a loss of 100,000 stopovers — our economy loses $250m or a quarter of a billion in visitor spending.”

Former President Donald Trump is reported to be "fine" and is receiving care from a medical facility after a gunman fired shots at a rally on Saturday in Pennsylvania, in an assassination attempt.

The suspected gunman, believed to be outside of the security area, was shot and killed. A rally attendee is believed to have been killed in the melee.

Trump appeared to have received an injury to the right ear as images show blood on his face before he was escorted by the Secret Service to a waiting vehicle.

Donald Trump’s campaign said in a statement that the former president was “fine” after a shooting at his rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.
