n Hotel. The then Speaker ADVOCET ABDUL HAMID now President of Bangladesh Government was the Chief Guest along with high ups in that flamboyant programme. Mr Mamun was the youngest member of the then Mymensingh Chamber of Commerce and Industries (MCCI,1984) and was also member of Kishorganj Chamber of Commerce and Industries (KCCI, 1988).In his school life a local organization named Agradut Sangha published a magazine in 1991 centering the Victory Day and Amor Ekushe by his edition. The then President and Justice Shahabuddin Ahmed gave his message to the Magazine which was nothing but a fairy tale in that time. As a member of Bangladesh Chalacchitra Sangbadik Sammiti (BCSS) he had the opportunity to maintain a good communication with Purnima Sen, actress of first Bengali movie Mukh O Mukhos. He and Kabedul Islam jointly edited a book on Architect of Rural Infrastructure Development, QUAMRUL ISLAM SIDDIQUE (QIS), published by heritage publication house MOWLA BROTHERS. He is directly associated to publish a book titled Tritio Bissher Sammohani Neta Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujubur Rahman written by Dr Zillur Rahman Khan, Rosebush Professor Emeritus, and University of Wisconsin. This is thefirst published Academic Book on Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujubur Rahman. Mr Mamun continued his career as journalist and worked in different Daily Newspapers like Amader Shomoy, Dainik Bangla Bazar Potrika, Dainik Purbokon, Dainik Janakantha, Weekly Robbar etc. In his college life he was a local correspondent (Tarail) of Bangla Bazar and later he became the Assistant Editor of the paper. He also worked in different TV channels as programme director, presenter and producer such as, he directed DCCI Business Dialogue (in NTV), BGMEA Business Talk (in Bangla Vision), Shomoyer Songlap (in Channel-1), Dristikon (in BTV) etc. Now he presents regularly a Business related programme in GTV. He is the member of Sub Editor Council, Dhaka Journalist Union, Bangladesh Chalacchitra Sangbadik Sammiti (BCSS), Dhaka Shangbadik University Film Society etc. Observing his duty as Managing Director of Vision Entertainment he is working in some charitable foundations such as QIS Memorial Foundation, M.NOORUL QUADER Foundation and serving relentlessly for the welfare of the privilege deprived garment workers of Bangladesh who are the heart of the economy. He has a good communication with people of politicians, industry insiders as well as every sector of people of home and abroad.
