From Boat Wreckage to Pacific Adventure: Vindsang’s Pacific Cruise ⛵️🌊
Jeremy Clowes, a skilled boatbuilder, along with his partner Anneke, salvaged a wrecked boat for a bargain price after a fierce gale. With determination and love, they restored ‘Vindsang’ to its former glory. Jeremy, Anneke and their family’s incredible Pacific cruise taught them the value of cultural traditions and opened their eyes to the fragile beauty of island life and the impacts of climate change.

At just 14 years old, Arty Bell is already making waves in the sailing world! Hailing from Nelson Bay, NSW, this talented teen is a member of the prestigious Newcastle Cruising Yacht Club's Junior Development Squad.
Arty's competitive spirit shines bright as he fearlessly takes on interclub events in Sydney, racing Elliott 6s and 7s. But his skills don't stop there! He's also an integral part of his family's offshore passage races, as bowman on their Beneteau First 50, 51ST Project.
With dreams of a career that combines his passion for sailing and mechanical skills, Arty aspires to stay involved with boats through trades like rigging or diesel mechanics. He shares his sailing adventures on Instagram (), where he creates captivating short movies showcasing his boat modifications and water escapades

BOATS AFLOAT REGISTRATIONS CLOSING TODAY!
*UPDATE* Boat afloat registrations are now closed, 2:42pm 15th September
After four long years it seems every man and his dog wants to be at the . As publicised, we're closing boat afloat registrations today at 2pm.
After that, we can no longer accept any registration for boats afloat. Since opening in April 2022 we have been delighted to see the variety of wooden boats expressing their interest in a berth at our 2023 event, big, small, steam, sail, the lot!
Boat ashore registrations will be open for a while longer, as will model boat registrations, so there's plenty of ways to get involved. Still interested? Why not register to volunteer! It's a pretty special feeling knowing you contributed to producing Tassie's largest free event!
If you are yet to receive a notification from us regarding the 2023 event, pease be patient and kind. We are a small team and our staff and volly's work very hard to be as efficient as possible.
