Last night I attended the Macarthur Premiere of The Blind Sea - Film. It was my second viewing - the doco about a blind man surfing 50ft waves at Nazaré Portugal is astounding. Created by local production house Brick Studios - The Blind Sea must be witnessed on the big screen. Today and tomorrow it’s showing at Event Cinemas at 4pm. You will be in awe, moved and inspired.

A perfect family gathering at The Hermitage Restaurant last night ♥️
The Hermitage is one of few restaurants where I could literally close my eyes and point when ordering. The menu reads wonderfully well and each dish delivers. Brilliant 🤩

When creating articles for advertisers, I often receive submissions from advertising agencies. These agencies are paid vast amounts of money to convey the product in the best possible light, while honouring and projecting the corporate image of a business.
Commonly they send me lots of words that mean absolutely nothing. They evoke nil human reaction and deliver minimal worthwhile information.

“It’s actually quite impressive to say so much without saying anything at all.” My daughter, Brooke, works in the advertising industry.
