And that’s a wrap! 10 years after beginning my DJing journey (and 82+ locations across Aus, NZ & Asia later ✈️), I’ve officially marked the end of my touring DJ era.. finishing up with a bang on NYE in Rockhampton. Surreal to write, exciting to think about, yet bittersweet nonetheless!! While I’ll no longer be DJing as Kate Fox, this does not mean no more music - and I’m very keen to see what letting go of this part of my life will mean for my energy towards creating the new!

Thank you to everyone who has attended shows, listened to my mixes and followed my career - I’ll be forever grateful. And an even bigger thank you to both Benny & Mitch at Catch as well as those involved in my early touring career … I wouldn’t have had the amazing experiences I’ve had over the years (or acquired the frequent flyer points I did haha) without any of you. 😊

While I’ve had my head down and been pretty MIA over socials the past year as DJing slowed down for me, I’m excited to share new creative projects with you as they come to life, including reigniting Kember Gold if you’d like to follow along 🫶🏼

Happy International Women’s Day ❤️ To celebrate, I’ve put together a fun lil playlist of songs named after women.. It was sooo fun finding these and putting this together but I’ve definitely missed a few so let me know what else I need to add! And shout out to all the kick ass women in my life who inspire me both personally and professionally - you simply by being your amazing selves and following your passions rather than doing what anyone thinks you “should” do - and I fu***ng love it. Happy new year from ✨club covid✨
2021 - in short: released an original i’m really proud of, overcame my fear of singing live (at a venue with pinch me views), managed to get on some planes again, smashed dry july and changed my drinking habits permanently, had some really amazing people come into my life, started renting a studio and arguably most impressively.. I survived lol. I’m pretty done with last year so I’ll leave it at that! Thanks for sticking around on this weird ol’ journey.
Onwards and upwards, and may your spicey cough come at a time that is most convenient for you 🥴

When I was a teenager I used to torrent new music then bring it to school on a usb to share with all my friends.. one of my sources for keeping up with what I needed to download (lollll) was actually the ARIA website, so tbh it’s a nice lil nod to past me to see my work there now. Very grateful for the support with ‘Whatever You Like’ debuting at #23 on the Aria club chart this week! Along with support from Tiësto, Don Diablo & Kryder ✨ nice to have some wins to celebrate while lurking in lockdown haha 🌿
