Her journey highlights 2RRR’s dedication to empowering young people in Ryde and Hunters Hill with valuable skills and opportunities. A night of community, music, and heartfelt reflection at Rotary Carols on the Common. 🎶✨ 2RRR was proud to join the North Ryde community for this magical Christmas tradition, brought to life by the incredible Rosanna Gallo and her talented choir.

While we gathered in song, our hearts were heavy with the news from Bondi. Our deepest condolences go out to the friends and families affected by this tragedy. This Christmas, let’s treasure our loved ones and the connections that bind us together.

Last week, our Chairperson Dino Mancini and Station Manager Natalie de Silver visited 2NBC in Kogarah for an inspiring day with Paul McGrath and Glenn ‘Jaye’ Williams!🎶They toured the station, exchanged ideas on broadcast tech, fundraising, and the unique challenges of running community radio. Join Robbie today as he chats with Australian musician and songwriter PETER HEAD about his book HEADONISM.

Peter will be chatting about his times with The Rolling Stones on tour Down Under in 1973, of supporting Elton John, John Mayall and others, of his early years in Adelaide backing Jimmy Little, Lonnie Lee, Lucky Starr and the young Bee Gees.

Peter will also recall his many collaborations playing, writing songs and recording with a pre AC/DC Bon Scott, of double bills with Bon's then band Fraternity and Peter's Headband of Headband working with Jeff St John, Wendy Saddington, Ted Mulry Gang, Sherbet, Taman Shud and more around the Abe Saffron run scene of Sydney in the 1970s.
