DIY Gingham Coasters using Kmart acrylic paint set (which I used in my last coaster video) 🥰 You’ll need 3 shades of your colour of choice. Macrame Bowl 🫶 Select a glass or ceramic bowl. You can add foil to the outside of the bowl (makes for an easier release at the end) and/or wrap the outside with glad wrap. Make sure it folds over the lip of the bowl and everywhere is covered with no gaps. Generously paint the glad wrap with mod podge (I’ll link everything I used in my bio). Start your spiral of macrame but do make sure it’s centred so that you don’t end up with wonky lines. I painted extra modpodge to hold the starting point in place. Cover the whole bowl with macrame, cut (I cut on the angle) and seal the end of the macrame with modpodge. Then go ahead and paint all the macrame. Let it air dry. Once the outside is dry, remove the glass bowl and glad wrap. I used a butter knife to separate the glad wrap from the glass bowl. If however you’ve used foil first this will be much easier. Air dry again. Once dry, cut a suede strap and punch a hole at each end. Carefully use a sharp object (like a streak knife to make a very small hole between 2 macrame strands where you would like the pin to go. 😍I’m alllll for practical storage and this has to be one of my absolute favourite purchases I’ve ever made from Kmart (Australia). Our batteries used to run wild either in a drawer or in a box full of random “stuff”. Now they’re all neatly organised and so easy to find. I just adjust the dividers to suit what’s in there. How to clean tomato sauce stain from clothes? 🤔 These are the exact steps I took:✔️Rinse in cold water as soon as you can. The sooner the better.✔️Add 1 scoop of napisan oxiaction (more than recommended but I really wanted that tshirt back!) to a bucket/sink/container of 40degree water. No hotter, as you don’t want to cook the sauce into your clothes. Make sure the stain is completely submerged ✔️Let soak for at least 2 hours (I soaked for exactly 2 hours)✔️Wash on 40degrees with your regular washing powder, 1/2 scoop of napisan oxiaction in the prewash section and vinegar in the fabric softener section (I always use vinegar as a replacement for fabric softener)✔️Ta-daaaa! That’s exactly how I got it out. My top tip….
