Since being in Amsterdam, I’ve kind of become obsessed with photographing people riding bikes through city streets. I like this guy, he’s cruising on his bike and talking on the phone, then the woman eating in the window balances the composition nicely.
On another note, has anyone been to Japan over Christmas? We’re thinking about it and would love to know what it’s like and where to go. (ps probs won’t snowboard)
If I was rich, would I buy a Porsche? 🤔 that’s a good question, I guess I’ll never know.

wandering around the back streets in the rain in the darkness. The lights bouncing off the wet roads, it really brings out a different vibe.
One of the best things about street photography at night is I’m not distracted by the shopping. Oh and also the cool lights 🪧
When I’m in my moment of street photography, it’s kinda like a trance, I’m taking it all in, every sound, every smell, the feeling I get in my chest. I follow my heart, I lean in to it, moving forward, following the excitement around every corner, this is my view of the world.
This moment in time will never happen again.
Planning my next adventure and reminiscing about that time a few months back. Maybe I’ll head back to Japan.

I confess, I ate a lot of donuts, you know what they say, when in Rome. Well in Melbourne, eat donuts and drink coffee, tick and tick.
This one is for my brother, he’s a comedian and only new on the scene. I’m so proud of him putting himself out there, although I wonder how much content is about our family 🤦♀️.

Still working through the Land Rover series, he’s another keeper. It’s only taken 3 years so far and probably many more, these things can’t be rushed, the photos are never staged (except maybe 3, you know who you are), so spotting one that is parked in cool location can be tricky, but I think that’s what I like most about this series.
This is Ginza, full of upmarket shops that I could never afford to purchase from, but let’s be honest, it’s not really my style, I’m more of a jeans and tshirt kind of gal.
I like this photo, there’s something about the composition where everything draws me in. The guy in a bright orange puffer jacket on the scooter, the red ‘Don’t walk’ then the rest of the image is quite monotone. Enough talk of this 🥱, let’s get coffee… ☕️☕️☕️
In 2015 we went to New York, I found myself immersed in a world of street art in Brooklyn, in particular this cool work by artist Beams on the side of the Pilgrim Surf Supply store. So 9 years later I am again in awe of the tiny details that appear in this artists work but this time spotted in Shibuya Japan.
This tiny street in Harajuku, I heard the engine and smelt the petrol before whipping around and saw what was coming. Always camera ready and this is why.

Street photography seriously is my favourite genre of photography, it’s a great way to see things around you, to be completely in the present moment. Then street photography on an old vintage Minolta SRT100 is next level exciting. To observe your subject, dial in the settings, manually focus and snap, that’s pure joy in my eyes. I love this photo. to me it has a real vintage surf vibe. The depth, the colours, I love it. I’m really loving Kodak Gold 200, here in Noosa it really does compliment the vibe I’m going for.

Land Rover in the city.
Every morning in Paris started with a croissant and coffee with my mum and dad where we would plan our adventures for the day.
We jumped on the underground and popped up in Montmartre. Welcoming the rain, we wandered around, exploring this hilly district. Mum managed to make it up the stairs, stopping regularly, holding the railings tight, carefully placing every step to not slip, she made it up, just before the next downpour, timing is everything.
Another coffee, chats with locals, visit Sacre-Coeur on the summit, before finding the “easier” way back down to the underground.
Montmartre I seem to only see it in the rain. Last time I was here was in 2015 and it rained that day too.
