Cutting his junglist teeth on the dance floor of Sankeys Soap and the backstreets of Manchester, BTKA brought his love of jungle and rave to Melbourne, just before lockdown happened...

Since then BTKA has played at some park parties and doofs with AGAPĒ AUDIO and SUB YARD SOUND and has appearances playing for Flowstate, Raveforest, Back2Breaks, Stomping Grounds, Radio Bar (over a dozen times in 2022 alone!), Boombassstick, and more. He also supported Mrs Magoo (Scotland’s Queen of The Jungle) on her inaugural Australian 2023 tour, played on London’s hallowed WeekendRushfm The Evolution of Radio a couple of times, played out on jungletrain.net and Area 3000, and recently supported A-Sides at Collingwood's QQQ ST Melbourne. There's also been a couple of live sets on KISS FM CounterCulture Radio. , Melbourne’s newest all-jungle show and, of course, fourteen appearances for Negative Pace!

A massive supporter of the Melbourne bass scene for a few years now, he's still got a wishlist as long as a baby's arm under his belt; but until then you can catch him doing his thang at SEEN on July 19th at Bar 303.

With just over a week to go until the big night, we though a sneak peak of the night’s rig was in order. Redback Soundsystem will be joining us at Bar 303 on Friday April 19th for what is being widely referred to as a “fully sick” night of jungle with some of the biggest baddest amentalists in the scene.
Despite the rig’s name, we’re definitely not going to be there to f**k spiders.

Free tickets for the fourteenth Negative Pace junglist extravaganza are available now.

From 8pm* until 1am** we have wall-to-wall jungle shenanigans in the Northcote institution known as Bar 303. It will be hectic from the outset, and at least two of these bad boys and girls will be playing back-to-back, so polish your best shufflers and get down there early.

Avid Collector, selector and producer of all things bass related, Sam Stacka has been performing in front of crowds for many years. Whether it be fronting a hardcore band through her early adult years to spinning vinyl or throwing down those digital vibes, Sam Stacka always incorporates that heavy sound into every set she plays. Co-Founder of one of Melbourne’s longest running bass nights, Bassline, Sam Stacka has been an active contributor to Melbourne’s underground bass music scene and sound system culture for almost a decade.

From reggae, drum and bass, jungle, footwork, 140, grime and UKG (just to name a few!), Sam Stacka is a heavy weight DJ who seamlessly blends multiple genres and keeps the crowd on their toes. She has supported countless international artists including - General Levy, Dub Phizix, J-Kenzo, DJ Vadim, Storm, Soom T, Radikal Guru, Commodo, Mungo’s hifi, Mampi Swift, Alix Perez, Sicaria, Aries, Sir Spyro, Inja, DRS and Dillinja.
