What a day I had today.........
I was serenaded all day by some extraordinary students who all had personal wins and breakthroughs today (some moving me to tears!!). Then, like a scene from a Stephen Spielberg movie, a student hands me an envelope and asks me not to open it until after their lesson.
My heart overflows with pride, privilege and gratitude for each and every one of my students.

Moreover, I'm truly excited to be learning and singing in traditional Aboriginal Language. This will be language number 10 for me.

We learnt how to play the ukulele which Jane has written into the score for all performers.

This completely blew my mind yesterday and I had to share it with you.
Charpentier's opera Médée, opened in Paris in 1693, exactly 329 years ago TODAY, the day we have our 3rd performance of the same opera.
Huge thanks to for keeping the baroque opera flame alive. There are so many stories that still need to be told, there is so much music that still needs to be shared and so much history that needs to be kept alive for future generations.
