CVBS Melt Mix #15 - Grumbl - Full Video
A little BTS of CVBS Collective's video mix featured on melt. mix #15 Grumbl cover artwork (still).
Connect Video Broadcast Sequence (CVBS), is a video artist collective, specialising in installations and analogue hardware VJing. The collective evolved naturally from 56K’s expanding video installation operations. The CVBS aesthetic is based on the manipulation of video feedback, pattern and colour to produce textural landscapes.
CVBS primarily operate in a live music context, mixing video that reacts to the environment in real-time using a mix of automated and manual techniques based on audio and video inputs.
Using a fleet of refurbished Cathode Ray Televisions (CRT’s) as it’s canvas, CVBS specialises in creating installations based on the configuration of these units. They currently operate two large TV collections, which can be stacked into a rectangular video wall set-up, allowing for Multiplexing (displaying one giant image across all the units).

OUT NOW! 'Honest Day' by '56K Records'
New Tape 'Honest Day' by '56K Records' is now available at our Bandcamp!
A little quick something we at 56K Records decided to whip up.
'Honest Day' is about a hard day's work, yet through recent events of stay-at-home work, much of the connotations around this have been misconstrued. The past year or so we have worked in our pyjamas, underwear, on the couch, in the backyard or from bed - using trips to the supermarket as recreational activity, or just walks around the block.

Here is a hardware techno jam and glitched out video by Melbourne artist 磁鬼頻率. The title "mind-sick" conveys the feelings of the artist at time of creation. This very same artist has worked with us on visual shows, as well as hosting an amazing collection of analogue hardware from visual fx to an array of synthesizers. Head to our bio to see more of their work
A lil preview of our logo prep for Gold Haus' 3rd birthday warehouse party on Sunday.
