Thanks to Andrew Banks, Editor at Mumbrella for acknowledging the importance of this issue to overhaul media, marketing and advertising's self-regulation system. We need to make some noise about this together and put the accountability onto the Ad Standards Board run by the AANA - Australian Association of National Advertisers. I'm happy for the AANA's fact checkers to try and prove this data wrong (their own published data) and will look forward to a response that shows us what they are doing to fix their engrained issues and finally be fully transparent and accountable.
This is what blowing the whistle looks like and I'm definitely up for the expected fight. As I say "Let's Unbox Australia!" Watch this space...
