Trends of 2022 — The year of virtual reality:
* Healthtech: Technology within the health sector has grown by approximately 37% this year, from USD$38.5bn in 2019 to an expected USD$52.5bn by the end of 2020 in Venture Capital investment. 2022 is presented as the year of the renaissance to the new normal. The expectation is that the pandemic will continue at least the first half of the year and daily life will gradually re-establish under a hybrid reality. It is important to emphasize that some habits established during the pandemic will be perpetual, and some others will return to normal.
Nonetheless, there are trends that we’ll see next year that are driven by the unprecedented context and some others that have been driven by the natural development of the market.
