If we haven’t crossed paths before, I’m Anina, the founder and editor-in-chief of Bravo Brisbane and Bravo Gold Coast. Running Bravo is a collaborative effort, and I am fortunate to have the dedicated support of my husband, Kieran J. Evans, who serves as my 2IC and Content Manager/Editor

As some of you already know, our family grew in early 2024 with the arrival of our baby, Juniper! That’s why we announced that we would be on hiatus until later in 2024. But, as those of you who have children would know, becoming a first time parent is no small feat. So we’ve made the decision to postpone our return and extend our hiatus until 2025.

We want to express our ongoing gratitude to our community for all your support. Collaborating with you and sharing your creativity with the world has been a true joy.

We look forward to returning with resumed energy and enthusiasm in 2025!

As we eagerly anticipate the arrival of our first baby in early 2024, we've made the decision to temporarily place Bravo Brisbane and Bravo Gold Coast on hiatus. This will allow us to fully focus on expanding our family. However, fear not! We plan to return with renewed energy and an even better Bravo experience later in 2024. Please stay tuned for updates!

Embarking on this new chapter in our lives is incredibly exciting. We want to express our gratitude to the local creative community for steadfastly supporting our platform. Collaborating with you and sharing stories about the incredible creative endeavours in our community has been a true joy. We're enthusiastic about resuming these collaborations once we've settled into our new family life.

Monty Python fans, rejoice! Spotlight Theatrical Company's opening night of Monty Python's Spamalot was an absolute triumph. From the hilarious antics to the stellar cast and superb direction, the show left us in stitches. Samantha Sherrin's Lady of The Lake stole the spotlight with her incredible vocals, while Andy Macfarlane's multiple characters had us in awe. The choreography was bright and entertaining, and the live band added a special touch. Congratulations to the entire cast and crew for a pun-tastic, knightly performance!

Spotlight Theatrical Company’s production of Chicago can be summed up in one word: nuanced.
