Dreams DO come true! Dog sledding has been on my life travel bucket list forever and I finally got to do it in Banff. Honestly, it was worth the wait! If you ever get the chance, I 10/10 recommend doing it. I did my sled ride with Kingmik Dog Sled Tours and it was nothing short of wonderful. The dogs are all so incredibly well-loved and happy - when you arrive, they’re all jumping and barking excitedly, eager to get you in the sleds so they can take off and do the thing they love most. This whole experience made me so very happy (and look at this beautiful babe’s blue eyes! Ah!) See more on YouTube ❄️🥰

Add this one to your Banff itinerary, pronto 🤍 Dinner and drinks at Louiza at the iconic Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise is essential - trust me 😍 The food here is so good I couldn’t choose and ended up getting a whole bunch of stuff to try including this DELICIOUS lobster pasta! Thank me later 🫶🏻

Ready to shreddy! I’ll be honest, I’ve never visited a ski field quite like Sunshine Village before ❄️ I’ve skied in Japan and New Zealand and loved both but nothing quite prepared me for the sheer SIZE of Sunshine Village. I spent 2 days skiing here and still barely scratched the surface! I do have to say though, that staying up there at Sunshine Mountain Lodge was a great decision. It was awesome being able to ski all day and get back to the room super quick and then wake up for fresh tracks the next morning. Full send, baby!

❄️😍 A moment straight outta my Canadian holiday dreams! This cosy little log cabin at could not have been any more perfect. With a wood-burning fireplace inside and a cute deli at the main house, serving up fresh coffee and bagels in the morning, it doesn’t get any better. More to come on YouTube this weekend ♥️🇨🇦

I did the Three Sisters Peaks Tour and loved every second of it. Flying over the Rocky Mountains, seeing everything covered in snow, it felt like a dream AND I didn’t get motion sick! Woohoo! One of the most unexpected travel memories of my life right here! 😍🇨🇦 Welcome to the wild world of Skijor! I don’t know how else to describe this other than it’s water skiing... except instead of a boat, there’s a horse... and instead of water, there’s snow... and cowboys… and cowgirls. It is EVERYTHING. They shut down Banff Avenue and brought in 50 truck loads of snow to make this happen as part of the annual SnowDays Festival and, trust me, if you ever EVER get the chance to see this - you should! Dubai desert safari ✌🏻 I had seen a lot of YouTubers do the evening desert safari and figured I’d book the morning one so I could experience and share something different. The tour guide was great and my tour mates were awesome! But it felt like every moment was constructed for Instagram. Like this photo. It’s a great photo but it doesn’t show what it actually felt like. I enjoyed getting the head scarf wrapped but we were led from place to place for a photo op. Stand here. Smile now. Hold this. Do that. It was so fake. Nothing felt like organic, authentic fun. It felt like a series of moments constructed to give people Instagram content. That’s not why I travel. So, for me, the desert safari wasn’t great and I wouldn’t recommend it. I’d be curious to see if another safari offered a better experience. Maybe one that took you out where there were no other tourists and you got to enjoy the landscape, eat in a cool setting and have some genuine fun without people trying to sell you things! Greetings from Dubai ♥️ If you’re thinking of going up to the top of the Burj Khalifa you may want to pre-book skip the queue tickets because the lines are looooong! To get the same angle as I did for a cute photo head to the Din Tai Fung at the Dubai Mall. Stuff yourself with dumplings then head outside to the fountain and you’ll find this same spot! Get that iPhone on 0.5x, down low to the ground and angled up and you’ll get the whole Burj in the background! Wooo! 🥳

The view from the rooftop of my hotel in Dubai served up one of the best sunset spots of all time 😍 After seeing this view from Element El Jaddaf, I didn’t feel the need to go up to the top of the Burj Khalifa. I figured if I was in the thing, I couldn’t see the thing! And I’d rather see the thing - ya know? More on my Dubai trip to come this weekend and, I’m sorry to say, it wasn’t exactly the start I had hoped for!

If you want to know my favourite neighbourhood to stay in Tokyo… it’s Azabujuban/Roppongi! Until this trip I’d never stayed here before, always opting for spots like Shinjuku and Shibuya. Don’t get me wrong, they’re still good… it’s just Azabujuban and Roppongi offered something different! I loved how peaceful and local it felt. There are so many great restaurants and everything feels just classier and easier somehow 😍 For accommodation, we stayed at and loved the hotel’s community vibe and how easy it was to get around (plus they do a free beer happy hour each evening! Kakkoii Sensei ✌🏻If you’ve never stayed at a ryokan in Japan, you’re missing out! A traditional inn, you can expect tatami mat floors, communal baths and a private onsen in your room if you’re lucky! But one of my favourite things is the yukata. You can wear your cotton summer kimono around the hotel, even to breakfast and dinner and you’ll find all the other guests wearing one too. It’s such a cool way to experience Japanese culture and really immerse yourself in it. Plus it’s super fun! Greetings from Gunma 😍 the coolest prefecture you didn’t know you needed to visit! To kick off this new adventure we headed to the Onioshidashi lava flow and it was like walking through a moonscape! The huge eruption of Mt Asama in 1783 saw the lava flow form and, now, all this lush new growth has pushed through it so it’s a beautiful and unique landscape of wild textures, shapes and colours. Chilled out in Okinawa 🥰 I had thought Naha would be a quiet little spot where I could enjoy some down time. Turns out it’s the perfect place to go full holiday mode! If you only do ONE thing in Okinawa make sure you visit a local izakaya with folk music and have a whole party night with the locals. You won’t regret it.
