Frocket zine's mission is to educate and provoke interest in fashion activism and textile education.

Inspired by the innovators and future thinkers, we critique the current fashion systems to offer thought-provoking alternatives. FROCKETZine is the brainchild of Frock Paper Scissors, published for 13 years. FROCKETzine, like the previous magazine, is a sophisticated, thought-provoking and boundary-breaking annual publication and online destination that prides itself on its high quality content a

nd professionalism. The zine and the website are produced as outcomes of the unit Fashion & Style Journalism, relying entirely on content provided by students, and an editorial team. Students enrolled in Fashion & Style Journalism experience the real world of working in fashion journalism, from content pitching, fashion editorials and feature articles, to design, layout and production. FROCKETzine is now in its sixteenth year of publication and with its continuous growth over the last 15 years, FROCK has cemented its name in the Brisbane fashion market and is beginning to reach audiences overseas. This unique and innovative publication wants to create intelligent debate around fashion, style, culture and art through the eyes of the new generation of QUT creatives.
