For 5 years, most Wednesday nights, I have broadcast a radio show from my home computer. Computer whizz you might think? Definitely not! The technical department for radioparkies is in Belgium, which can be problematic for us who live far, far away.
It is time to do something a little different, I will be rejoining the OnlyHuman show on Independent radio station 4ZZZ fm102.1 OnlyHuman is your community voice on social justice, mental wellness and disability rights. The new live to air time is Sunday at 12:00pm.
I will be presenting interviews with People living with Parkinson’s, at the end of the month.

Increasing physical activity in People with PD.

Are you doing enough?

Researchers at the University of Queensland are inviting people with mild-moderate PD to participate in a research project aiming to improve and maintain physical activity levels. This research aims to help people who aren’t already active enough, to increase their physical activity.

Participants will attend group exercise sessions run by a physiotherapist and receive advice and education to help them monitor and continue being active, including using commercially available activity monitors.
