Learn to play rock, grunge or metal on electric guitar by ear, in a one-on-one casual home environment.

Once you have learnt your song of choice, we then record you playing along with a "full band sound" backing track.

You then get an MP3 copy of the song to take with you to show your family and friends and show off your awesome guitar skills.
*Please bring a USB thumb drive along to the session.

$40 per hour, cash or PayPal accepted.

I'm currently teaching a 13 year old student how to play this one.
I think it's great that kids of today's generation are still interested in "old" music.
The same went for me back in the late 80s. Learning to play oldies like Led Zep, Black Sabbath and Deep Purple etc.
Just goes to show, classic rock never dies. Long live rock n roll 🤘😝

Another classic I learnt to play by ear. I could have read some tablature, but I was never a big reader of anything to be honest. My ear would pick out the notes faster than my eye.

Rhythm guitar is the syncopated percussive element we as rock guitarists love to play. If not for AC/DC's Malcolm Young and his relentless right hand, we probably wouldn't have ever heard Metallica's chug chug chug style we now class as 'metal'.

The 90's also had some decent classic hard rock and metal. This one blew my mind the first time I heard it. It's easy to learn and play too.
