Hobbledehoy has been around since 2006, and we've been putting out vinyl since 2008... that's a lot of vinyl! But the rarest gem is the illusive test pressing, the sample issued before green-lighting full scale production.

Often reserved for the artists, engineers, producers or label, sometimes these find their way into the homes of the most discerning of fans and collectors. We're making some available to you!

Ultra-rare (our tests are limited to only 5 copies) and often highly sought after, these are a must for the completist and make incredibly unique and thoughtful gifts ☺

The stunning debut "Gossamer Songs" from SHORT SNARL .lucia has finally shipped from the factory 😁 Almost half a year on, we will be able to get these into their new homes soon in January, wahoooooo and phhhhheeww! Through an almost entirely DIY home-recording, Thea explores their relationship to and between masculinity, shame and love. An intimate and immediate record that exudes warmth, a glimpse into their unfolding and expanding world. Wistful, romantic, and absolutely spellbinding. Featuring V () on drums/percussion just fyi. Some extra Hobble history points right there ✌️

Label Lookout: These are the releases in other labels catalog that have had significant impact personally for me. If you're into Hobble's vibe/s, I think you'll find something here too! First up is JADE TREE. Contrary to popular belief, there's much more to this legendary label than emo esq rock and post-hardcore. There is also plenty of that, though. And honestly, the limit is preventing me from adding anything near close that I want too, Jade Tree has a truckload of solid, deep-cuts.

Hobbledehoy’s 76th release and 6th with LUKE HOWARD, this is an incredible score with contemporary choreographer JULIANO NUNES, challenging gender norms in ballet. Commissioned by the Birmingham Royal Ballet for the Commonwealth games in 2022 and performed at the legendary Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury Festival in 2024. Absolutely marvellous.
